Conditions to rent a car in Martinique

Do I have to pay a deposit to get my car back?
For any car rental in Martinique a deposit must be left. The counter agent will need your credit card to block the deposit. The amount is not debited, it is blocked on your bank account for the duration of the rental.
It corresponds to the amount of the deductible which is specified on the reservation - on your contract, and it depends on the model of vehicle chosen.
If there is any damage to the car, you will be informed by the park agent that the deposit will be debited. An expert mandated by the insurance company will then come and evaluate the amount of the work and the difference will of course be given to you.
To compensate for this, there is a solution available to you: the Total Deductible Repurchase which reduces the accident deductible to 0€.
